Current Vacancies:

Project Co-ordinator (Digital Inclusion)

As the Project Co-ordinator you will be responsible for supporting vulnerable people on a 1-1 basis, referring and signposting to community provision and completing all relevant assessments, data input and paperwork required for the funders.

An excellent level of IT skills as well as experience in supporting others are essential, you will need to be an excellent communicator, as collaborative working with a wide range of partners is essential for the success of these projects.

Hours: 16 hours per week Salary: £19,902 per annum pro rata

Project & Volunteer Coordinator (Digital Engagement)

This is an exciting opportunity to become a member of the Employment and Advice team. Co-ordinating the ReachIT Lancashire Building Better Opportunities Digital Inclusion project in a specific area, supporting people at risk of social exclusion and helping them move towards employment.

You will recruit, train, support and supervise a team of volunteer Digital Champions and Digital Buddies, who will provide additional training and support to those at risk of social exclusion.

Hours: 24 hours per week Salary: SP22 £20,418 per annum pro rata

Volunteering Roles:

Trustee - Treasurer

Lancashire Women's Centres are recruiting a Treasurer to join their board

Role summary:

  • Monitor the financial standing of the charity and reports to the Board and CEO regarding cash-flow forecasting, income streams, out-going expenses and the overarching strategic management of the organisation’s financial resources
  • Oversee the charity’s financial risk-management process and report financial health to the board of trustees at regular intervals
  • Acts as a counter signatory on cheques and applications to funders and ensure that annual accounts are submitted to all relevant regulators in a timely fashion
  • Liaising with external auditors on financial issues and ensuring that the organsiation’s finances are responsibly managed/invested for the betterment of the organisation’s work and for the beneficiaries it serves

This is a chance to make a big difference to the work of Lancashire Women’s Centres. The support of Trustees is very important to us in order for us to achieve our objectives. Trustee meetings are held every six weeks (up to seven per year), with an expectation that trustees will attend at least five meetings per year. This is a voluntary role, but reasonable expenses will be paid.
